In May, the @Health and Environment Alliance (HEAL) published the policy briefing “Strengthening EU action for health and climate resilience“.

In there, they state that “health resilience by design should be integrated into ongoing adaptation efforts and provides recommendations to strengthen health protection“.
This position, along with the ones of other organisations at national or EU level, is important for projects such as healthRiskADAPT, echoing the importance of working on topics like heat or air pollution.

The connections of the project with the civil society and policy aspects are essential to ensure the sustainability of the project’s research results into a wider network.
